Orders and Shipping

How do I place an order?

It's simple: Choose one of our trouser designs. Take the measurements of your lower body in six areas if you are a man and eight areas if you are a woman by following the instructions given in the video. Then enter them into the appropriate boxes. After having done so you can complete your order and pay with the payment method of your choice.

How long does the production of the trousers take?

You can find the current delivery time in the studio by clicking on the fabric colour and, once you’ve ordered, in your customer account under “My account/orders”.

How much does shipping cost and to which countries does SELFNATION ship?

SELFNATION delivers to Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Luxembourg, Denmark and Sweden.
If you would like to have your jeans delivered to a different country, then please contact Lena.

Can I order swatches?

Yes, you can order up to four swatches for free: To the swatches.

As a new customer, will I receive my order in one shipment if I order several pairs of trousers at the same time?

It is very important to us that our SELFNATION trousers fit perfectly from the beginning. Therefore, we only send our new customers one pair to start with - if you are happy with the fit, we will of course immediately start with the production of the other trousers.


How do I measure myself?

Taking your body measurements is simple. Once you have chosen your design, you can enter your measurements. Just follow the instructions for women or men. The video shows you how to measure correctly for each of the measurements. Enter the exact measurements that you have taken - our tailors will make sure that your trousers fit perfectly. What happens if the pants do not fit?

This does not happen very often, seeing as we tailor your order according to your exact measurements. However, should this nevertheless occur, then you can contact us within 14 days of receiving your trousers via email or telephone.
Explain to us in a few short sentences the problem with the fit and send us, if possible, pictures of you wearing your trousers (from the front, the side and the back). What's important is that you contact us first. Depending on the issue, we can offer you the following alternatives:

  • For small adjustments up to 40 CHF (EUR 35 / GBP 35) you can go to the tailor of your trust and the alterations made will be paid by SELFNATION. Send Lena your receipt and a note that it concerns a pair of SELFNATION trousers. For us to be able to give you a refund as soon as possible, we also need your bank account details. To make sure that your next pair of trousers fits perfectly from the beginning, we ask you to enquire of your tailor about the exact alterations that have been made.
  • In case of more elaborate adjustments, a new production of your SELFNATION trousers is possible upon consultation with Lena.
  • The third option is the refund of the full purchase price. Simply return your pair of trousers to us. In this case, too, please contact Lena within 14 days, she will gladly help you.


Where are my trousers produced?

Your SELFNATION trousers are tailored by experienced tailors using traditional methods in our manufactory in Switzerland.

Are the trousers vegan?

All our chinos and shorts are vegan. When it comes to our jeans all our materials are vegan except for the leather tags. If you wish to have your jeans without the leather tag, then please contact us via email directly after you have ordered your jeans: [email protected]


Which payment methods are available?

You can pay in advance, with a credit card (Mastercard, Visa), Paypal or Postcard. The credit card payments are all carried out on the secure Saferpay (SIX) page. Your credit card details are transmitted in encrypted form and are saved exclusively on the secure Saferpay servers.


How do I take care of my trousers?

The instructions on the label of your trousers tell you how to wash them. Just follow these instructions so that you can enjoy your favourite pair of customised trousers for years to come!
